Module 9

1. Explain why you selected each of the TWO videos you choose from the selection listed above.
Albrecht Dürer: Image of a Master - Much like always, I chose this video due to the interesting title. The artist's name appeared interesting to me. Not only that, but the title of the video, "Image of a Master" made it seem as if it were gonna be empowering and enlightening.
The Drawings of Michelangelo - I've heard a bit about Michelangelo, so I thought it would be cool to watch a video on him to learn more.
2. For each video list/discuss the key concepts you learned.
Albrecht Dürer: Image of a Master - He enjoys painting people. He's painted himself, one of his neighbor's, his mother, etc.

The Drawings of Michelangelo - A few of his drawings tell stories of the greatest commissions of his life. He enjoys drawing the human body.

2. How do the videos relate to the readings in the text?
They all explore with the artists through their creations of their work, give details on how they came to be, the process, etc.

3. What is your opinion of the films? How do they add depth to understanding of the readings and art concepts?
The films were nice. They add depth and understanding because it gives us more insight and a look in their world.
